Peter Krabb

Peter Krabb is a Principal of RCG since 2022. He has more than 10 years’ experience in the renewable energy industry, with focus on energy storage and photovoltaic technologies, combined with management, commercial, operational, and strategy experience.

Peter is an expert in development and operation of utility scale battery projects. As a Principal based in Canada for the Advisory and Solar/BESS team he contributes with battery storage modelling, owner’s engineer and independent engineer expertise.

With experience from pure technical to management engineering positions, Peter held multiple leading positions in the energy industry in small start-ups as well as for a large utility which operates hydro, wind, solar and battery assets. He was part of the business and product development for the Battery Center of this utility where he conducted business plan and technical evaluation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of battery projects. He had the lead of the Technology and Modelling team, responsible for feasibility studies, technical due diligence, project management, and R&D. He has expertise in various utility scale battery projects especially in optimization of revenue stacking applications. Additionally, he has deep knowledge of advanced battery analytics, to model degradation effects of different battery cells.

Peter Krabb is trained as a physicist and is also qualified in renewable energy and communication electronics.

Tugce Sahin recently joined the RCG London team as Principal.  She has a comprehensive understanding and experience of the offshore renewable energy markets.

Tugce is an expert in market intelligence, market analysis, and delivering successful consulting projects. As Principal, she has the responsibility of developing a strategy for RCG’s market intelligence services and supporting all global practice areas to deliver management consulting, and technical advisory work.

Tugce has held energy industry leadership roles and has led renewable consultancy projects. This includes serving as a research manager and offshore wind consultant. She led, secured, and delivered successful consulting projects to leading offshore wind value chain companies. The assignments have included due diligence and providing strategic advice for new market entry.  Tugce also has experience in market research, numerical analysis, and report writing across the offshore wind and subsea cable markets.

Tugce trained as a chemical engineer and has a post-graduate degree in energy engineering and environmental management.

Juan García-Faure is a Senior Consultant at RCG with experience in the renewable energy industry and environmental consultancy. During the last 15 years he has been working for multinational manufacturers in the wind and solar photovoltaic sectors.

Juan is an expert in sales and business development for international large complex projects and has responsibility for the elaboration of growth plans, building long-term relationships and partnerships with new and existing clients by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.

Juan has been working for 10 years as Technical Sales Manager for a global wind turbine manufacturer, developer of wind farm projects and provider of EPC and maintenance services. Previously he worked for 5 years in the solar photovoltaic sector as Business Development Manager and Key Account Manager for a global manufacturer company and a multinational developer.  Juan has provided technical and commercial support to customers on the development of their renewable energy projects in Europe, North Africa and Middle East, from greenfield to ready to build phase. Juan has broad experience in bid and tender procedures, project acquisition process and contract negotiation of large-scale projects of international renewable energy (EPC, FIDIC, supply, installation and maintenance).

Juan is an agricultural engineer specialized in rural engineering and has additional qualifications in renewable energy and energy efficiency. He also is trained in business administration.

Jesse Broehl is a Principal in RCG’s New York Office. He has over a decade of experience as a research analyst, consultant and wind energy subject matter expert journalist covering renewable energy. Mr. Broehl uniquely blends technical and industry knowledge on the US renewable energy market with years of writing and market report authorship experience.

Mr. Broehl is an experienced renewables analyst and has lead authorship on multiple technical and market intelligence reports. His experience includes over a decade focusing analyses on wind energy primarily, and solar and energy storage secondarily. As a skilled writer and industry analyst, Mr. Broehl is familiar with all aspects of the renewables market both domestically in the US and globally, and excels in market insights and strategy. He has served clients from across the industry, including wind turbine OEM companies, private equity companies, oil companies, and others.

Mr Broehl joins RCG from the leading US trade group for renewables, where he was a key member in renewable energy market, policy, and technology trend research and analyses. As a research analyst and consultant at an energy consultancy, Mr Broehl managed the firm’s global wind energy market analysis, competitive assessments, product and supply chain analysis, market forecasts and emerging technologies and strategies. In this role he was also the lead author on multiple annual reports and data products. Mr. Broehl has a degree in journalism and multiple lead authorship credits to his name.

Josiah Mault is a Principal with RCG in Boston. He has extensive experience in wind resource and energy assessments for pre- and post-construction projects.

Mr. Mault is highly experienced in all aspects of wind resource and energy yield analyses for both onshore and offshore projects, having supported of 50 GW of projects. He provides key advice on pre- and post-construction projects to mitigate technical risks and reduce uncertainty in support of development and financing.

Before joining RCG, Mr. Mault led a team of analysts at a major renewable energy consultancy performing bankable energy yield assessments. He was responsible for managing projects and directing analysis methodologies to ensure delivery of robust high-quality deliverables to clients. His 13+ years of energy yield experience covers a broad range of technologies from remote sensing, mesoscale modelling, and CFD modelling as well as project types that include pre-construction, operational, repowering, hybrid, turbine power performance, site conditions, optimization, and siting.

Mr. Mault has a degree in atmospheric sciences, with a focus on meteorology.

Prasanna Krishnan is a Principal at RCG. He has 15 years of experience in the solar PV industry, having served over 1GW of PV projects globally. He brings a diverse perspective, having served with companies throughout the value chain in the renewable energy industry.

Mr. Krishnan is a solar PV specialist. His experience covers module manufacturing, development, EPC, consulting and startups. His depth is in engineering management, project delivery, and O&M of utility-scale solar projects. Additionally, he leverages his entrepreneurship experience to bring development, contracting and commercial expertise to RCG.

As a performance engineer for a thin-film module manufacturer, Mr. Krishnan dove deep into the technical characterization and evaluation of PV systems. He next led the development of the performance and O&M business unit at the US operations of a major European EPC. In this dynamic, startup environment, he spent extensive time in the field working hands on with PV systems. He leveraged this combination of field and managerial experience to build lean processes at a prominent solar farm developer, helping drive an asset-owner mindset to decision making.

In between roles in the corporate sector, he has served as an advisor and technical specialist on solar and sustainability startups in Latin America, led the regional operations of a cleantech accelerator, and co-founded an energy storage company. Consulting assignments have covered technical due-diligence, construction quality management, asset management, and technology commercialization.

Mr. Krishnan has a degree in Electrical Engineering with a master’s in Solar Energy Engineering.
