UK offshore wind and wider global trends

The team from RCG attended the Our Ocean Wealth Summit, which took place on 9-10 June 2019 at City Hall, Cork, Ireland. The Summit incorporated the Irish Marine Industry Trade Show on 11 June, which included a presentation by RCG on the UK and global offshore wind markets

Our Ocean Wealth Summit is Ireland’s flagship event for the marine sector. The Summit brought together Irish and international organisations working to create innovative, sustainable solutions with global impact that drive our blue economy. Global leaders, including former US Secretary of State John Kerry and senior political representatives from island nations in the Pacific, the Caribbean, and the Indian Ocean, as well as more than 500 national and international delegates.

The Irish Marine Industry Showcase was hosted by Enterprise Ireland and was attended by national stakeholders and more that 25 companies. The theme was Smart Maritime and Offshore Wind.
