Taiwan renewable energy leader Raoul Kubitschek joins RCG

Taipei, Taiwan – Sector-specialist advisory firm, The Renewables Consulting Group (RCG), today announces the appointment of Raoul Kubitschek as a Director in the company’s Taipei office. RCG already operates in Taipei and this appointment further strengthens the firm’s strong local presence and long-term market support for clients.
Mr Kubitschek has been working in Taiwan and the Greater China region for over a decade, with accompanying fluency in Mandarin. He will lead local business development and client operations. He is a respected leader in renewable energy development in Taiwan, with experience covering both wind power and solar PV projects. He has a thorough understanding of Taiwan’s unique renewable energy and power market and will provide an effective bridge between local and international players.

Before joining RCG, Mr Kubitschek founded his own energy consultancy business, supporting Taiwan’s nascent offshore wind industry. His previous experience includes leading solar PV development in Taiwan for wpd AG, a global developer and operator of onshore and offshore wind farms and solar projects. Mr Kubitschek also served with the German Trade Office Taipei, supporting German and Taiwanese companies and institutions develop and expand their activities in Taiwan or Germany. Mr Kubitschek is a member of the board of the Taiwan Renewable Energy Alliance and former Director of the European Chamber of Commerce Taiwan Low Carbon Initiative.
