RCG bolsters research services with recruitment of Seb Rae in London office

London, England – Today, The Renewables Consulting Group (RCG) announced the addition of Sebastian Rae to the firm’s London office. Mr Rae is a commercially focussed and client-oriented analyst with a track record of delivering powerful, independent and robust insight to decision makers within the offshore oil, gas and renewable energy industries.
From 2013, before joining RCG, Mr Rae worked at the UK’s leading renewable energy trade association RenewableUK, where he was Market Intelligence Manager and Business Development Manager. He also played a key role in building a robust platform of knowledge in support of the £20m GROW: OFFSHORE WIND programme to help UK companies take advantage of the supply chain opportunities presented by offshore wind. Before joining RenewableUK, Mr Rae was an Energy Researcher and Analyst at the energy research firm Infield Systems, now a part of WoodMacenzie.
Mr Rae has extensive experience working with intelligent enterprise applications for business development, databasing, forecasting, marketing, and modelling. Mr Rae earned his BSc (Hons) in Geography, and his MSc in Carbon Management from The University of Edinburgh.
